| In this paper, we develop a Müntz spectral Galerkin method (MSGM) for solving the time-fractional Burgers equation (T-FBE) with Caputo fractional derivative. The method combines temporal discretization based on the L1-type approximation of the Caputo derivative with spatial discretization using Müntz-Legendre polynomials. We provide a detailed error analysis of the method. Several numerical examples are presented to validate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method. The results demonstrate that MSGM achieves high-order convergence and accurately captures the dynamics of T-FBE, in excellent agreement with exact solutions and previously published results. | ||
