| چکیده | ||
| پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی و تحلیل ساختار پیرنگ در رمان تاریخی الحجاج بن یوسف اثر جرجی زیدان، میزان انطباق آن با مدل هفتمرحلهای روایت و کارکرد این ساختار در تلفیق تاریخ و تخیل را تبیین کرده است. این مطالعه به روش تحلیلی-توصیفی و با تکیه بر مبانی روایتشناسی ساختارگرا که در میان مکتبهای ادبی روایتشناسانه، بسیار پرآوازه و پرکاربرد است، انجام شد. نتایج تحلیل نشان میدهد که ساختار پیرنگ رمان، با محوریت شخصیت حسن، از نظم روایی آگاهانه، منسجم و علتمند پیروی کرده و انطباق بالایی با مراحل هفتگانه دارد. این پیرنگ بر بنیاد تقابلهای دوگانة محوری نظیر عشق و سیاست، وفاداری و خیانت، اخلاق فردی و قدرت بنا شده است. کشمکشهای روایی بهطور تدریجی و با ایجاد تعلیق هوشمندانه پیش رفته و عمق روانشناختی اثر را افزایش دادهاند. این ساختار، با چینش دقیق مراحل داستان، توانسته است رویدادهای متراکم تاریخی را سازماندهی نموده و به اوج برساند. سرانجام، گرهگشایی داستان با دخالت سیاسی خارجی محقق میشود که ضمن اجرای عدالت داستانی، بر نقش قدرت مرکزی در تعیین سرنوشت نهایی تأکید میکند. کاربرد موفقیتآمیز این چارچوب ساختاری، نشاندهندة تسلط جرجی زیدان بر تکنیکهای داستانپردازی است که توانسته تاریخ را از قالب گزارشی خارج نموده و به داستانی با طرح منطقی و پرکشش، اثرگذار و ماندگار در دورة معاصر تبدیل کند. | ||

| The present study aims to examine and analyze the plot structure of the historical novel Al-Hajjaj ibn Yusuf by Jurji Zaydan, assess its conformity with the seven-stage narrative model, and elucidate the function of this structure in integrating history and fiction. The study employs a qualitative, descriptive-analytical methodology grounded in structuralist narratology, which is one of the most prominent and widely applied approaches within the schools of literary and narrative studies. The findings indicate that the novel’s plot structure, centered on the character of Hasan, follows a deliberate, coherent, and causally organized narrative pattern and demonstrates a high degree of correspondence with the seven stages of plot development. The plot is founded on major binary oppositions, including love and politics, loyalty and betrayal, and individual morality and power. The narrative conflicts develop progressively through the deliberate creation of suspense, thereby enhancing the psychological depth of the work. Through the precise arrangement of the narrative stages, this structure successfully organizes the dense historical events and drives them toward a climax. Ultimately, the resolution is achieved through external political intervention, which, while enacting narrative justice, emphasizes the role of central authority in determining the characters’ ultimate fate. The successful application of this structural framework demonstrates Jurji Zaydan’s mastery of narrative technique, which enables him to transform history from a merely documentary account into a logically structured, engaging, compelling, and enduring narrative for the modern era. | ||
