| چکیده | ||

| چکیده [English] | ||
| Rapid advancements in emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), have fundamentally transformed banking service delivery methods. However, the adoption and implementation of AI is a multidimensional phenomenon, influenced by a wide range of technological, organizational, human, and environmental factors. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the antecedents and consequences of AI adoption in Bank Mellat. This research adopts a qualitative and exploratory approach and is conducted within an interpretive paradigm using grounded theory methodology. Research data were collected through semi-structured interviews with experts, managers, and specialists who have relevant experience in AI applications at Bank Mellat branches in Semnan city. Purposeful sampling was employed, and data collection continued until theoretical saturation was achieved, resulting in ten interviews. Data analysis was carride out using MAXQDA software through open, axial, and selective coding procedures. The findings led to the extraction of 44 open codes, 17 subcategories, and 7 main categories that explain different dimensions of AI adoption in banking. The results indicate that factors such as technical and information infrastructure, legal and regulatory requirements, organizational culture, human and technical challenges, and strategic and competitive advantages play a decisive role in the successful adoption and implementation of AI in Bank Mellat. The findings of this study provide a scientific basis for banking managers and financial policymakers to design a digital transformation roadmap and advance smart banking initiatives. | ||
